Offering a 35mm equivalent focal length of 35mm, this lens is suited to portrait and street photography, as well as documentary and even landscapes and travel photography. Its maximum aperture of F2 also makes it great for shooting in low light!
Inner focusing for fast AF Lens uses an inner focusing mechanism that drives smaller and lighter lens elements to focus in just 0.05 sec, maximising autofocus performance. It does this almost silently, so users can capture a range of shots quickly and discreetly.
Weather-resistant design If you like shooting in a wide range of conditions and climates, the weather-resistant design of the XF23mmF2 R WR will give you worry-free picture-taking. The click-stopped aperture ring and smooth manual focusing ring also have a premium feel, enhancing overall quality.
F2 maximum aperture The maximum aperture on the XF23mmF2 R WR gives plenty of versatility. It is great for low-light use, helping X Series users to keep shooting handheld, but it is also useful when you want to blur the background for professional-looking portraits. Thanks to the nine-blade aperture diaphragm, bokeh (out-of-focus areas) will be smooth, with highlights almost perfectly circular.
