The XF23mmF1.4 R LM WR is not the first iteration of this popular focal length in the X Series, but arrives with a mass of new potential.
Offering a comparable angle of view to the human eye, the XF23mmF1.4 R LM WR ensures there’s nothing to stand between a viewer and the power of an image. A true storytelling device, the lens features precision optical construction. Lifelike resolution is complemented by tightly controlled aberrations.
Among a range of headline features, close focusing, weather-resistance and a linear motor are standouts. The former puts subjects as close as 19cm well within sight, while a number of internal and external seals protect against dust, moisture and temperatures down to -10°C. A near-silent linear motor drives rapid and accurate autofocus – capable of freezing the unpredictable moments we can’t afford to miss.
Despite such outstanding all-round performance, the XF23mmF1.4 R LM WR remains a compact daily companion. It’s portable enough to carry, and makes for a seamless addition to any kit bag at a lightweight 375g.
